The Invisible Master, and a Fake Empire
A rusted river flows carefully through our hair,
Tinting our skulls with copper and silver tones.
Electronic shackles guide our hands,
Metal cases trap our feet.
The Invisible master pulls us on.
Silent glares and demonic tongues,
Cajole and blame with clouded senses.
Pins and black stripes calling out to us,
Bearing down on us.
The Invisible master pulls us on.
Bright lights and lusty noise seduce,
Regulating even our imagination.
Our dreams become directed,
The plots and parts are not our own.
The Invisible master pulls us on.
Trapped beneath the skin,
In our cage of bones and flesh,
Lost in the abyss that is our tormented souls,
A flaming desire flickers, nearly extinct.
The fake empire that we live in,
Guided by the Invisible master who pulls us on.

On society and Technology. Written by a friend of mine. And I agree we are all addicted to technology. We talked through twitter, Facebook, and other electronic ways. We let ourselves be convinced that what in the fashion magazines is correct. They are wrong. We need to break away from the Fake empire that we live in and realize where we are headed.
What really scares me is that all our history is now being saved on massive data banks. Electronic files deteriorate over time, until the file is unusable. I can also be tampered with. It we loose this data than we loose part of our history. I'd rather we still relied on stone tablets that will still be here in the next million years.
